Welcome!
Visitors are always greeted with joyful barking when taking a tour of
Canyonwyck Kennels. The first thing our visitors always notice is how
large each dog kennel is. All dogs will have their own private kennel.
A large dog kennel is 5 feet wide by 30 feet long. It is an
indoor/outdoor kennel. This means the first 5 feet is indoors with a
doggy door that connects to a 25 foot outdoor run. Even the small
dogs have a big kennel. A small dog kennel is 4 feet wide by 20 feet
long. The first 4 feet is indoors with a doggy door that connects to a
16 foot outdoor run. We don't board our dogs in crates. Your dog will never have to share its dog
kennel with another dog. Dogs from the same family can stay together if that is preferred by the owner.
The entire facility is heated and air-conditioned to keep your pet comfortable. The kennels are
vacuumed, mopped, and sanitized daily.
Cats are boarded in a separate wing of the facility. This a quieter and
calmer area just for cats. The cattery has windows down one whole side
of the wing to provide plenty of natural sunlight and fresh air. Cat litter
boxes are changed daily and floors and walls are sanitized. The cattery is
also heated and air-conditioned.
Canyonwyck Kennels requires that all pets boarding in our
facility are current on vaccinations. Canyonwyck Kennels has
been providing the community with safe, professional pet care
since 1947.
